Copy and line editing is what most authors need. I offer at least three passes of your manuscript for this service. I will check for grammar, style, flow. factual details when necessary, and spelling.

For this service, I also include your final proofread for free. Proofreading is important to catch any/all mistakes before publishing. It is that last look at your manuscript to see if anything was missed during regular editing.

Developmental & Structural Editing

Developmental & structural editing checks your overall plot, timelines, character inconsistencies, and the flow of your manuscript overall.

This service does not include any copy and line editing.

Proofreading

Proofreading is done right before you submit your manuscript for publishing. This service is the last step when all other editing has been completed.

For proofreading, I require the first 10 pages before I agree to this service. This is to ensure (for the both of us) that the manuscript is ready.
